Day 4 – Alberobello and Brindisi

What a hot day! We have done so much walking today and back of my legs burnt enough to hurt when they touch a surface.

Today we went to Richard and Noirin’s and had a Full Irish Breakfast ready to face the day’s activities. First stop was Alberobello (the Trulli Village). By the time we got there its was boiling. So glad I had put my shorts on. So we were given a free few hours to stroll. The place is beautiful and if you pass by this area you must visit the place. Here are some pictures from my phone, I will let them explain!!!

Obviously I had to get some goodies whilst there too. The place has such a vast history, even when told you can’t take it all in first time round. So I suggest you read up on it.

We then headed for Brindisi. When we got there we went straight for some Ice cream. Recommended by Richard and Noirin.

Some tasty looking stuff to be seen!  We then went for a stroll round the town of Brindisi. Again very historical, and used as a port in Roman and Byzantine times. We had a good stroll about then headed to a restaurant for tea. Was lovely watching the sunset!!!

Right I am off to sleep, as another long day ahead of us tomorrow. Day 5 coming soon!!!!
